With the anticipated completion of the fourth collection of tales, Tales from the Roost- Roost'n Time Tales, fourth in a collection of turkey hunting story books, the author will offer a collection of favorites, in a larger format, and with color pictures. It is ideal for those new to author’s musings and those that like the larger format offerings.

With over a hundred stories penned of turkey hunting adventures from the great forests and fields of North America, Old Turkey Tree is a compilation of the author’s favorite stories based on melancholy, and vivid recall from those memories and grand experiences in the turkey woods.

As you turn the pages it immerses you in grand moments in time and gives you opportunity to recollect your own collection of wonderous experiences in the turkey woods. The author further hopes you might be encouraged to capture your own stories and would enjoy reading them. It is thought better to hear you recount your stories in person, your favored experiences at the local diner, or at the back of our pickups at a trailhead!

It is to be said that in looking back at our days afield, as hunters we have gained tenfold from the time spent there. To recall all those we shared time within these places, cannot be replaced by any occupation or windfall of monetary means. In these places it is a most rejuvenating pursuit, full of opportunities for discovery and wonderment.
